JUST ONE PHOTO 2015

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION:

1. The confrontation is organized in the form of open contest and is openly available for every photographer in the world.
   
   
2. Each participant will present only (1) one photo, taken within two years.
   
   
3. The theme and technique is free to choose.
   
   

4. Photo format – pleas use English alphabet in description and payment confirmation.
   The file may not contain following characters: < /: „” !? |  \ …..
   
   Example photo:            surname – name – title – country.jpg, matula – adam – latarnia – pl.jpg
   Payment confirmation:  surname – name – title – country.pdf, matula – adam – latarnia – pl.pdf

5. Please send digital file in the proportion of (4:3, 3:2) with photo of up to 3MB in JPEG standard (.jpg, 300 dpi, RGB 8 bit per channel, profile sRGB length of shorter side no smaller than 2450 pixels, compression quality ‘high’, compression 7-10 photoshop), file with payment confirmation for participation (200 Kb PDF)

6. Electronic entry
   Electronic entry via web-page www.mok-jar.pl/tylkojednozdjecie/ fill in and send the application on one of the pages.
   You will receive confirmation of participation on your e-mail.
   
   
7. Postal entry
   Send CD or DVD with the file, registry card and payment confirmation to the following address:

   The participation in the competition must be accompanied by the entry fee of PLN 30.00 (thirty Polish Złoty) for Poland or EUR 10.00 (ten Euro), or $12 (twelve US dollars) paid to:

8. APPRAISAL OF THE WORKS:
   The Jury appointed by the organizing party will be responsible for appraisal and judgment, distribution of prizes and selecting the works for the catalogue and for the exhibition. The decisions of the jury are final and without appeal.
   The legal rights for awarded and prized works will be forwarded to the organizing party.
   Every contestant, who paid for “Just One Photo” will receive a commemorative catalogue.
   The organizers reserve the right for repeated, free of charge distribution, recording, storing and copying of the works for the needs of the contest, namely the presentation of the exhibition, reproduction in the catalogue, media, Internet and also for the occasional marketing oriented publications promoting the contest.
   Winning and qualified for post-contest exhibition photos shall be stored in digital archive and the rest shall be deleted including CDs and DVDs.

10. PRIZES:
    Gold, silver and bronze medal of FIAP,
    Honourable mention of FIAP,
    FIAP’s “Best Author” Award
    Gold, silver and bronze medal of Stowarzyszenie Fotoklubu Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej
    Cash prizes of I, II, III grade and Honourable mentions funded by organizers
    Sponsors' and Funders’ prizes
    
    The Jury reserves the rights for different prize selection.

11. TIMELINE:
    The final and irrevocable deadline for sending works is 7th September 2015.
    Jury deliberations will take place on 26th September 2015.
    Results of Confrontation will be announced by e-mail and on

    and

    on 6th October 2015.
    Vernissage starts on 7th November 2015.
    Exhibition will take place between 8th November 2015 and 29th November 2015.
    
    The prizes and 4 star catalogues will be send between 30th November 2015 and 31st December 2015.
    

12. ADDITIONAL NOTES:
    1. All the works not fulfilling the described rules of participation will not be considered by the Jury.
    2. The organizing party shall not be held responsible for any losses or damages to CDs, DVDs resulting from the transport of the works.
    3. The submitted work may not be prized or mentioned in any other competition.
    4. Employees of Miejski Ośrodek Kultury in Jarosław and member of ATEST 70 Photo Club may not participate in the competition.
    5. Organizing party shall not be held responsible for any damage caused by publishing false personal data or other data based on the registry form submitted by the participant.
    

13. THE FINAL NOTES.
    1. The submitted work is synonymously copyright ownership statement to the photo. By sending the photo the contestant hereby declares to be the holder of copyrights to the entered work, all the portrayed people's rights were settled and the contestant holds permissions of all people to use their image for the purpose of the contest. (in accordance with Act of 4th February 1994 with later amendments of copyrights and neighboring rights. Law Gazette No. 24 with subsequent amendments).
    2. By enrolling to the contest the contestant hereby accepts the Rules of Participation and agrees to process his/her personal data for the purpose of the contest and marketing in accordance with Act of Protecting Personal Data of 29th August 1997 (Law Gazette Nr. 133, pos. 883 with subsequent amendments).
